My respectful greetings, Mr. President Donald Trump, and my deepest gratitude for the operations in the Caribbean that led to the arrest of Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores.
A few days ago, I wrote an article addressed to you entitled “Swing,” in which I suggested replacing Mr. Edmundo González, the President-elect of Venezuela, a tired politician unwilling to undertake the tasks required to restore order in my country, Venezuela. The proposal outlined a switch, by which, based on our Constitution, I could replace Ms. María Corina Machado. Neither María Corina nor Edmundo are capable of handling the complex scenarios presented for restoring order in my country.
The Europeans are interested in imposing implausible scenarios for rebuilding Venezuela; Their interest lies in continuing to plunder Venezuela without leaving any records or evidence, engulfing the country in chaos that could further destabilize the American region, on which you and your government have set your sights.
As a Venezuelan and former employee of the oil industry, I fully agree with your investment proposals for oil extraction and processing in my country. This will help flood the oil market in the medium term, prompting an adjustment in oil prices to a level profitable for both American companies and the Venezuelan state holding company, if it survives the transition.
Looking to the medium-term future, stabilizing Venezuela will provide a stable ally in the Americas, one that can collaborate in future scenarios driven by certain powerful groups, scenarios that could lead us to indirect conflicts or a terrible global war.
But to tell you that María Corina and Edmundo are not capable of envisioning these scenarios or stabilizing Venezuela, without proposing a replacement, is irresponsible.
In the United States of America, if I'm not mistaken, lives an elderly retired Venezuelan admiral, who was head of the Military Household of former President Carlos Andrés Pérez (+) during his second term, Rear Admiral Mario Iván Carratú Molina.
I don't know him personally, but from what I've read and witnessed about him, and from the people who know and admire him, it seems to me that this man, a contemporary of yours, could be useful to you in the scenarios facing Venezuela, scenarios that demonstrated seriousness and strategic vision stemming from the actions associated with Operation "Absolute Resolution." With that man, I could have an incredible ally who understands what needs to be done, and who is willing to do it, to free Venezuela from the Chavista cancer, from entrenched populism, and who would allow us Venezuelans to establish the necessary conditions to develop a stable and profitable economy that, aligned with his government's plans, will propel us toward a prosperous and economically stable future in which both countries can greatly benefit.
I bid you farewell with all due respect.
IN GOD I TRUST!
