There is a constitutional and legal possibility. President-elect Edmundo González is a weary man and can be persuaded to change the Vice Presidential nomination. The current nominal Vice President, Ms. María Corina Machado, could remain doing humanitarian work around the world, showcasing her European Grand Prix.

The Vice Presidency in Venezuela is a position freely appointed by the President; it's essentially like a Minister, or for you, a Secretary.
